NIR-OR (Israel) Ltd. was founded by Mr. Nathan Tarter in 1986.

The company's main business is developing & manufacturing electronic equipment and systems.

As of the 1^st  January 2008- IMCO Industries Ltd - a public company registered in Israel, purchased 51% of  NIR-OR shares, being a joint ownership with the founder Nathan Tarter. 

NIR-OR has extensive experience (500+projects) in developing and manufacturing cost effective tailor-made high technology products.

The company's capabilities cover the full spectrum of military and commercial products - from relatively simple hardware to sophisticated electronic and electro-optic systems - with specialized expertise in displays and video systems.

NIR-OR has been qualified by the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) and the Israeli Ministry of Defense as a level "A" supplier and is renowned for its stringent Quality Assurance and product reliability. NIR-OR has also been awarded ISO-9001 quality certification.

Over the last ten years, NIR-OR has enjoyed a constant growth in employees and revenues.

The company's human resources in year 2009 stands at 65, divided into:

• 50% electronic & S/W engineers
• 30% manufacturing & administrative specialists
• 20% management & marketing professionals

Based in 1000 sq.m. of modern office space and laboratories, NIR-OR's headquarters is located at the Afek Industrial Park in Rosh-Ha'ayin, near Tel Aviv.
