Nir-Or's portable Display and Navigator is a smart ruggedized unit for digital moving maps or any other video display application where high mobility is essential. Operating on rechargeable or regular batteries, the portable display includes (Navigator version only) a GPS receiver and antenna and sufficient memory for a complete digital moving map database. Both versions can display various video sources and standards. The unit's 3" x 4" Color Active Matrix LCD (320x234 resolution-1/4 VGA) features high brightness and contrast and a wide viewing angle. Video-in connection and data downloads are handled through a single plug. Only 5 keys are required to operate all display and map functions. The portable display is suitable for both military and civilian use and can be easily installed on car dashboards, motorcycles and bicycles or carried in a belt or shoulder pouch. It is fully weather, sand and dust resistant and ruggedized for use in harsh environments.
